Attention all Phoenix-area students/writers!

Are you a student who struggles with writing?
Perhaps you're a writer looking for feedback?
Or maybe you need help with your college essay?

Mummy Mountain Writers Workshops offers help in all of these areas. Let the program founder and director tell you about it herself:
Mummy Mountain Writers Workshops is a community of young writers, who gather together to create and share their creative writing with their peers.  Led by MMWW Director Mel Smith, the workshops consist of fun writing exercises, peer-to-peer writing evaluations, and also individual attention for each member.  Workshops are limited to six members. During the course of each session, writers will work on short stories along with other creative pieces such as poem sequences, personal essays, and (despite their young ages!) memoirs.
Here is a list of services offered:
  • Writing workshops for reluctant writers can help you get motivated!
  • For ages 6 to 10, Camp Make-A-Book is a week-end workshop where campers learn to write, illustrate, design, and bind their very own books.
  • If you're a high school student seeking help with your college essay, MMWW offers prompts and excercises to help write an outstanding college essay writing
  • For those seeking one-on-one help, one hour long sessions are availible.
There is no rule on how to write. Sometimes it comes easily and perfectly;sometimes it’s like drilling rock and then blasting it out with charges.” -- Ernest Hemingway
